Overview
Over the past few years, CRESST has grown to meet expanded needs by substantially strengthening our work beyond a historical K–12 audience. Today, our projects include government, military, medical, and pre-K through adult-level organizations. We have successfully scaled up our models-based assessment research to create innovative assessment, learning, and evaluation systems for almost every age and every type of program.
CRESST researchers are among the most widely recognized authorities in their respective fields, serving as members and leaders of national professional associations including the National Research Council's Board on Testing and Assessment, the National Council on Measurement in Education, the American Psychological Association, the National Academy of Education, the American Educational Research Association (AERA), and the World Education Research Association (WERA).
CRESST partners have invented and produced a substantial number of innovative tools including iStatistics and the Quality School Portfolio, both used to evaluate educational quality and improvement. CRESST researchers developed three innovative assessment tools supporting the Naval Education and Training Command's Surface Warfare Officers School leading to a prestigious American Society for Training and Development Excellence in Practice Award for two consecutive years.
Please explore our ever-expanding education- and learning-focused projects and let us know how we might help you.
