Kevin Binning

Biography/Research
At CRESST, Dr. Kevin Binning is a senior researcher, with a strong interest
in advanced statistical methods, longitudinal field experimentation, and
non-experimental research. Trained in data analytic methods including
structural equation and multi-level modeling, Dr. Binning has conducted
research on the influence of social norms to the way people process
information. He has a growing interest in social psychological interventions
to address disparities in educational achievement among different
ethnic/racial groups.
Before joining CRESST, Dr. Binning completed a two-year post-doctoral
fellowship in Social and Organizational Behavior at the Stanford Graduate
School of Business. He also has ongoing research and a concurrent
appointment as a project scientist in the Department of Psychological and
Brain Sciences at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
