The Faculty of UCLA’s Department of Education recently announced the search for an energetic, creative scholar to serve as a CRESST Co-Director. CRESST is an internationally recognized research and development center that enjoys strong partnerships with leading institutions and researchers.

CRESST employees include researchers, administrative analysts, administrative staff, and graduate and undergraduate students. The following are general categories of employment at CRESST:
Assistant Directors and Senior Researchers often lead research studies and in most cases hold doctorate degrees in measurement, evaluation, educational psychology, or a related topic. They frequently seek grants to support center work, present their research findings at conferences, and write research articles for publication in journals or magazines.
Public Administrative Assistants (PAAs) generally assist senior researchers or assistant directors with data collection, data analyses and reporting, writing, and literature reviews. Most PAAs have a master's degree in education or a specific content area such as math, language arts, science or history/social science.
Administrative Assistants (AAs) usually work with multiple researchers supporting a diverse variety of research projects. Responsibilities may range from conference and meeting logistics to coordination of surveys and assessments plus editorial support.
Graduate Students assist with many phases of research projects including data collection, analyses, and report writing. Graduate students are expected to work 49% time with the remaining time for their studies. Most graduate students are working on doctorate degrees, frequently in the field of educational psychology or social research methods.
